Pre-Use Workshop
Deutsch: Wir bieten Pre-Use-Workshops an, also Workshops für “nicht-zerstörerische-Kreativität” bzw. nachhaltiges Gestalten und Hacken. Die Workshops sind immer etwas anders. Einige Grundbausteine bleiben aber gleich und sind hier dokumentiert. Es gibt auch eine reine “Erwachsenen-Version” in englischer Sprache hier.
English: We offer pre-use workshops so workshops for “non-destructive-creativity” or “diy-circularity” or “hacked modularity”. The workshops are always a bit different. However, some basic elements remain the same and are documented here. Update: There is an adult only version of this in english here.

1 Verbinder | Fasteners
Deutsch: Im Workshop bauen die Teilnehmer*innen eigene Pre-Use-Skulpturen aus denen sie umgebenden Dingen. Dafür stehen ihnen eine Reihe von Verbindern zur Verfügung. Der Schlüssel für Pre-Use ist, dass die Verbinder wieder löslich sind. Klebeband, Kabelbinder, Leime, Scheren usw. sind tabu.
Verbinder: Spanngurte, Leimzwingen, verschiedene Klammern, längere vorgeschnittene biegbare Drahtstücke, verschiedene Kabelbinder-artige Sachen mal mit Klettverschluss mal aus Kunststoff
English: In the workshop, the participants* build their own pre-use sculptures using the things surrounding them. A number of connectors are available for this purpose. The key to pre-use is that the connectors are soluble again. Tape, cable ties, glue, scissors etc. are taboo.
Fasteners: Tension straps, glue clamps, different clamps, longer pre-cut bendable wire pieces, different cable tie-like things sometimes with Velcro fastener sometimes made of plastic.

3 Forschung | Research
Deutsch: “Ein/e Hacker*in weiß vor allem sehr viel über das zu hackende System”. Man kann den Teilnehmer*innen vorher die Aufgabe geben, ihre Umgebung zu erforschen.
