Mifactori hat ein neues Projekt & Ziel. Eine “gläserne Fabrik”, ein Labor für Stadt-, Konsum & Produktionstransformation.
Wir denken, dass eine offene Produktion von Produkten, Ideen und Wissen für eine Wirtschaft, die den Folgen des Klimawandels vernünftig begegnen, den Biodiversitätskollaps gut auffangen und zugleich die Zivilisation auf die nächste Stufe heben kann, wichtig ist. Wir gehen dem voran und bauen eine gläserne Fabrik auf. D.h. man kann uns bei der Arbeit zugucken – und dabei auf vielfältige Weisen direkt oder indirekt mitmachen.
Bevor wir einen physischen Ort dafür haben (→ please Fund Us, Partner Up), nutzen wir in Phase 1 erstmal Streaming. Wir arbeiten, die Kamera läuft und streamt live ins Netz.
Perspektivisch werden wir einen richtigen Ort dafür haben in irgendeiner Fußgängerzone oder auch Seitenstraße, Hauptsache große Fenster [LINK ADD]. Der Online-Handel macht die Geschäfte zu? Hier ist unsere Idee für die freigewordenen Flächen.
Die Fabrik wird ein Übungs-, Schau- und Experimentierplatz für Transparenz und offene Mitgestaltung. Gemeingüter-Produktion. Was hier entsteht an Methoden, Lösungen und Möglichkeiten, gehört allen. Es geht darum das Land/die Öffentlichkeit mitzunehmen und an den Klimawandel anzupassen. Offene Wissensproduktion, nachhaltiges Design, zukunftsfähige Stadt und resiliente Kultur. Die Ideen dafür stapeln sich hier. Und wir hoffen, dass wir sie bald umsetzen können.

Aber ein Schritt nach dem anderen. Erstmal findet alles im regelmäßigen Live-Stream statt. Man kann uns bei der Arbeit zuschauen. Wie durch ein Fenster. Klinkt euch rein. Und unterstützt unsere Arbeit, damit wir schneller einen Schritt vorankommen.

Mifactori has a new project & goal. The “gläserne Fabrik” (transparent factory). We like to think and experiment that open production of products, ideas and knowledge is important for an economy that can face climate change, biodiversity collapse and resource depletion in a reasonable way and at the same time take civilization to the next level. We conduct another experiment and create a transparent factory. You can see through our windows, watch us work – and participate directly or indirectly in a variety of ways.
Before we have a proper place for this (→ please Fund Us, Partner Up), we will stream in phase 1. We work, the camera runs and streams live to the web.
In perspective, we will have a physical location with large windows [LINK FOLLOWS] for it in a pedestrian zone or side street, the main thing is large windows. Online shopping is closing physical stores? Here is our idea for the vacated space.
The factory will be a large training, show and experimentation space for transparency and open co-creation. Production of commons. What is created here in terms of methods, solutions and possibilities belongs to everyone. It is about taking people with us and adapting to climate change. Open knowledge production, sustainable design, sustainable city and resilient culture. The ideas for these are stacking up here. And we hope to implement them soon.
